欢迎来分享一个成功乐队的故事，他建立在漫长的道路上，电台更重要的是他们精彩的摇滚音乐。2000年取得黄金销量的处子作The State之后，Nickelback通过第二张专辑Silver Side Up把自己推向了全世界，这张发行于2001年9月的专辑，在全球获得了900万销量的好成绩。其中美国5百金，英国3白金，乐队的家乡加拿大3白金，澳大利亚2白金，德国，荷兰白金和十个其他地区也有不错成绩。乐队在The State的巡演和电台播放中获得了稳定的歌迷，而Silver Side Up中的单曲How You Remind Me?则把他们推向了新的高度。这首歌得到了四项格莱美奖提名，四项公告牌杂志奖，四项朱诺奖及无数电台的评选。How You Remind Me称为了2002年最受欢迎歌曲，接着的两首冠军单曲Too Bad和Never Again再次获得好评。当尘埃落定时，Nickelback在电台评选中获得2002年最佳摇滚艺人。
如今2003年，这只来自温哥华的乐队：Chad Kroeger – 主唱/吉他手兼主要歌曲作者, Ryan Peake – 吉他手, Mike Kroeger – 贝司手, 和Ryan Vikedal – 鼓手带着他们的新专辑The Long Road又回来了。这次的作品更显和谐，技艺纯熟，真诚，前卫和情感表现力，The Long Road充分体现出这些年轻人的潜力。

从专辑充满动感的主打单曲Someday到Throw Yourself Away强劲有力的吉他riff再到能量十足的Do This Anymore和表露情感的Feelin' Way Too Damn Good。由此可以看出，Nickelback已经将重心放在了他们标志性的优美旋律上。专辑的另一个突出点是在歌词方面的长进——更多的是大众化的主题而不是简单表达个人情感。
“专辑不再仅表现我个人所经历的事，”主唱/吉他手Chad Kroeger详细解释道，“而是每个人都经历过或希望从中获得启示的东西。”
在The Long Road制作的过程中，一个重大的转变是乐队第一次接手制作中的所有事务。他们知道这将是一个挑战，但是对完成这项任务充满信心。The Long Road将是乐队生涯中的里程碑——他们在无任何外界影响下完成了整张专辑。 “我们成为了自己的评判员，在一起做我们想做的事，感觉简直太好了！”Chad Kroeger在温哥华的Greenhouse studios 和Chad's home studio录音时说。

Nickelback的贝司手Mike Kroeger说：“我们只是尽最大努力去做音乐。我并不认为自己在做别人正在做的东西。我们只对硬摇滚风格真实的Nickelback音乐感兴趣。”
随着专辑在9月23日的发行，乐队将在秋季的美国巡演中为其做宣传。专辑第一首单曲Someday于7月29日在各大摇滚电台热播。由Nigel Dick拍摄的MV Someday也在9月初完成。
Nickelback制作的摇滚音乐正在漫长的道路（The Long Road）上磨练。他们通过自己的音乐在全球百万歌迷中找到了归属，为了乐队和歌迷，这条路将延续下去…

似乎找到组织了哈,Nickelback是我最喜欢的乐队之一,他们所有的专辑我都收藏了.
尤其是他们2005年发行的《All The Right Reasons》这张专辑很好听,一定不能错过.
